COVID-19 | message from Northern Settlement Services CEO, Sharon Daishe

During the current pandemic, Northern Settlement Services has adopted a model of working that will allow us to continue to meet the needs of our vulnerable clients.

We are focussing on strict infection control measures to keep our staff and clients safe and minimise the risk of transmission of COVID-19. Group activities have ceased. Other services will be provided remotely where possible. You can still call any office although your call may be diverted.

• NSS Armidale and Central Coast offices are closed, and all staff are working remotely.

• NSS Hamilton and Tamworth offices are closed for casual visits, and most staff are working remotely.

• Staff providing essential face to face client services and appointments must follow infection control and risk protocols including requiring clients to disclose information about exposure to COVID-19.

Note that our related partner organisation, Settlement Services International (SSI), has closed its offices including Hamilton and Armidale.
